Events vs Untoward Events

Overview

The occurrence of ‘events’ is as age-old as existence itself, and many are well beyond the control of Man, but, in Man-caused terms, the evolution, and development, of intellect has brought with it almost unimaginable amounts of human activity, not all of which is wholesome, let-alone sustainable.

Whilst such as Capitalism, Materialism and Consumerism – along with many other human activities – escalate the incidence of ‘events’, and some people find a way to justify most examples, ultimately, there are far more humanly-inspired untoward events than there are harmless and wholesome examples.

Throughout history, Man has found a way to justify such as War, along with all the accompanying, rape, plundering, pillaging, maiming and killings et al, but it almost all amounts to examples of untoward events, as does the vast majority of other human activity, and, paradoxically, most of it is unsustainable in the longer term.
